Former Arsenal youth star and current Dundee defensive midfielder Glen Kamara has spoken out about speculation linking him away from the club.

The player had a fantastic season for Dundee and outshined most in the Dundee inside including surprise signing Steven Caulker.

Kamara was linked with a move to Parkhead earlier this summer but it has gone quiet since.

There,s no doubt the Finnish player is a talent but the abundance of midfielders at the club means it’s not likely Celtic would look to bring him in this summer.

Speaking about all the speculation surrounding his future the midfielder was play it cool.

He said: “It’s something that’s easy enough to ignore. I don’t pay any attention to stuff like that.

“Looking back, it was an amazing first season. I probably never expected to do so well.

“I came here to get regular football and I was almost ever-present. I showed what I can do.

“New arrivals have been good for competition, so nobody slackens off.”

The midfielder has one year left on his current Dundee deal and he could be a player of interest in the future.
