FORMER Celtic Striker Moussa Dembele has scored his first Champions League goal for Lyon.

In a night of high drama in France, the former hoops frontman was the catalyst for Lyon’s comeback after being 2-0 down with just over 20 minutes to go.

It was Dembele’s goal that sparked the French side into life on the 70th minute before teammate Leo Dubois won a point for Lyon just two minutes later.

Former Celtic player Jason Denayer also played in the match.

Of course, this wasn’t Dembele’s first Champions League goal in his career. The striker has scored some special ones for Celtic including a double against Man City at Celtic Park.

The Frenchman scored an overhead kick the night the English big spenders came to town in a game which finished 3-3.

Celtic are on the outside looking in on this year’s tournament and watching the highlights and seeing their former teammate shine in the competition will give everyone extra incentive to make sure Celtic are back there next season.
