Adam Idah ultimately led Celtic to victory over Rangers with a late winner in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden.
Idah, who also represents the Republic of Ireland alongside former Celtic defender Shane Duffy, received praise from Duffy on social media site X post-match.

Despite Duffy not having the best time at Celtic, Idah has certainly made up for this, ultimately becoming a match-winner off the bench in the biggest occasions this season, with this afternoon no different.
Duffy most definitely enjoyed the win, with Idah transforming into an incredible striker at Celtic after a stop-start career at Norwich City.
The only question now is whether Celtic will sign the Irish striker permanently in the summer.
Idah had shown previosuly glimpses of brilliance for the Republic of Ireland with huge goals against Gibraltar and Holland, but he has undoubtedly taken this to a whole new level at Celtic.
Brendan Rodgers’ management of the Irishman has been simply incredible, getting the best out of him in just four months at the club.
