Remember Thomas Rogne?

The former Celtic defender who was signed up by Tony Mowbray left the club in 2013 after three years at the club.

During his time at Celtic, the player was injury ravaged and never really got going in the Hoops, although many did see the potential.

Now 27, Thomas has just signed for Lech Poznan after a successful spell at IFK Göteborg.

The Norweigan now has the chance to win the Polish league with his new club, who are only two points off the top.

It’s funny looking back at some quotes on the player from Tony Mowbray who had high praise back when Rogne was signed as a 19-year-old.

‘Thomas is a young player we’ve watched for a while and we’re delighted to bring him to the club. He’s only 19 but has had good experience in the Norwegian league.

‘We’ve had a chance to have a look at him in recent days at Lennoxtown and he’s shown up well. He has all the physical attributes and personality to be a success at Celtic.

‘Like Josh Thompson and Milan Misun, Thomas is a big part of our future plans in defence.

Those three names will jog some memories.
