Celtic hero Tom Rogic is in no-man’s land after it was announced on Monday morning Steve Bruce had been sacked as manager of West Brom.

Bruce was a big factor in Tom being signed on a free just last month for the English side, and now he’s been pushed out the door after a string of poor results.

Tom played his first game for the club last week, however, it was clear they put him in too soon after joining. The Australian wasn’t match fit and it showed.

He was left on the bench for Steve’s final game in charge at the weekend; a 0-0 draw with Luton at the Hawthorns.

It was surprising in the summer when Tom didn’t sign for another club straight away. He went back to Australia and bided his time before moving to the English Championship.

The midfielder will be hoping the new manager sees value in using him and in the correct position. Bruce had Tom in a central midfielder role, almost in a holding capacity on his debut.

We hope he can make a success of things after this tumultuous start.
