Celtic hero Chris Sutton will head up Viaplay’s coverage of the League Cup final alongside Ally McCoist and other famous ex Celts [Glasgow World].

This will be the first final which Viaplay will cover after taking over from Premier Sports and they have went all out as they have announced a packed 10-person line up for the Hampden showdown.

It shall be the first time that Celtic have faced their Glasgow rivals in a cup final since December 2019 and it is expected that a huge audience will tune in to watch the final.

Many Celtic fans were left impressed by the broadcaster’s coverage of Celtic’s last Scottish Cup game as Ange Postecoglou was able to share some time on air along with former boss Gordon Strachan who will be part of the team. The line up will also include Sutton’s former striking partner John Hartson.

It will mean that Sutton will also came face-to-face with Rangers boss Michael Beale who branded the former Hoops striker, “Chelsea’s worst ever player”.

Both sides have remained unbeaten since returning after the World Cup break and the game is set to be a cracker.

Celtic were far from their best in the previous derby match at Ibrox but still managed to rescue a point. Postecoglou’s side will be very different on Sunday.
