Football shirt Friday is upon us where people are encouraged to wear their favourite football jersey and donate to the fight against bowel cancer.
Many former players have taken to social media to show their colours and their favourite football jersey.
When it came to Chris Sutton, there was only one shirt he was ever going to put on!
I’m wearing the iconic Celtic jersey in support of #footballshirtfriday and the @BobbyMooreFund .Send in pictures in your favourite football top and tell us why it’s so special and if you can donate £5 in the fight against bowel cancer. The 2003/04 Celtic champions winning hoops shirt is proudly worn by the former Hoops man as he does his bit for charity.
Chris has played for Norwich, Chelsea and Blackburn and will no doubt have jerseys from his time at those clubs. As we know, the big man might have left Celtic, but Celtic has never left him.
The pundit is no cheerleader though, he does love a wind up, but he will always give his honest assessment of his former club and how they’re doing.
CeltsAreHere.com were at a Q&A with the player a few weeks back and Chris admitted he’s optimistic about this season.
