It’s a long way from West Ham but Carlton Cole has joined his former Chelsea teammate Micheal Essien at Indonesian side Persib Bandung.
It’s a shame his short stay at Celtic could also be summarised as Bandung!
The English striker who spent more time in London during his time at Celtic than Glasgow is not ready to hang up his boots just yet, even after an unsuccessful spell in America immediately following his Celtic departure.
Cole has described the move as “incredible”. It’s worth noting that Persib regularly draw crowd’s of 20,000+ to games so he’ll have an audience.
