Former Celtic striker Teemu Pukki has absolutely terrorised Eddie Howe and Newcastle on Tuesday evening – getting a man sent off and then scoring a sensational equaliser.

In doing so, Teemu consigned Newcastle to the bottom of the English Premier League table.

SENSATIONAL GOAL

The former Hoops frontman didn’t ever get off the ground at Celtic under Neil Lennon and was sold to Brondby after his stint in Glasgow.

The Finnish star has found a home at Norwich – although he’s never been quite as prolific as he was during his first season with the Canaries.

Eddie Howe took over the Newcastle job with the club languishing in the relegation zone. His arrival has failed to lift the team and while they might be the richest club in world football – they still need to get to January so they can spend to save their skin.

Eddie had verbally agreed to take the Celtic job this summer before pulling out at the last possible moment. Celtic fans have seen it as a blessing, and they’ll certainly see it as a bigger win if Eddie is found wanting at St James’ Park.
