JACK AITCHISON has returned to Scotland, signing a short-term permanent deal with Lanarkshire side Motherwell.

The now 22-year-old made his Celtic debut at the age of 16 years, two months and ten days, becoming the club‘s youngest–ever goalscorer and player in the process. This record came in Ronny Deila’s last game in charge when the Hoops thrashed Aitchison’s new side 7-0 at Paradise. The player came on from odd the bench.
Since leaving the Hoops in 2020, he has featured for a number of English clubs, including Barnsley, Forrest Green Rovers and Stevenage. Now, the 22–year–old striker has the chance to prove himself in the Scottish Premiership as he looks to make an impact in front of goal with his new club.
Completing his deadline-day move and agreeing to a six-month deal, the striker is looking to impress to ensure he’s in the top flight next season.
