Former Celtic loanee Oli Burke is continuing his nomadic football career as he tried to fit in somewhere within the game.

Signed on-loan by Brendan Rodgers, many people will have forgotten there was an early clamour for Celtic to sign the Scottish international after a string of good perofrmances.

His form dipped and one Neil Lennon came into the fray, Oli found himself with less and less game time. Not something we should be blaming Neil Lennon for, but it was blatantly obvious he wasn’t good enough to hold down a regular place in the Celtic side.

The winger/forward has failed to live up to his early potential and since leaving Celtic, he’s continued to slide.

Top sports journalist Alan Nixon has revealed the player is set to leave Sheffield Utd this month with Millwall being al likely destination.

Oli seems like he’s going to fade into the background. It really does feel like a long time since he moved to Germany with Leipzig and was hailed as one of Scotland’s next top talents.

He possesses a lot of pace but beyond that, it’s hard to see what he brings to the table.

Oli is only 24, and there’s plenty of time to turn things around if he can find a team to suit.
