The race to sign Moussa Dembele is intensifying, with Atletico Madrid, Everton, and Southampton all competing for the former Celtic striker‘s signature.

The 26–year–old‘s contract with French side Lyon will expire at the end of the season, with clubs able to sign the former Celt for free.
Despite finishing third top scorer in the league last year, Dembele has had a disappointing season, scoring only three goals.
According to Mundo, Atletico Madrid are hoping to bring Dembele back to the club after an unsuccessful loan stint in 2021, and have competition from Premier League strugglers Everton and Southampton, who were also keen on him in January.
Celtic, who sold Dembele to Lyon in 2016 for a fee of just over £20 million, will miss out on a 15% sell–on fee if he leaves for nothing. At times, the media had linked Dembele to a big Premier League move, but nothing came of the rumours.
