The Celtic Disabled Supporters Association (CDSA) has become the latest group to turn on the Parkhead board, with members voting overwhelmingly in favour of a motion of no confidence.
Sunday’s clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park is set to be the backdrop for the latest show of discontent. A coordinated walk-in protest will see the 12th man enter the stands after 12 minutes, symbolising the supporters’ absence and frustration with the board.
Fans have been urged to back the team fully once inside the ground, but to make a visual and vocal point during those opening moments.
The move brings the CDSA into line with the Celtic Supporters’ Association and several other fan organisations who have already taken similar steps.
The decision follows weeks of escalating unrest among the support. A disappointing transfer window, the failure to bring in reinforcements for key positions, and an early Champions League exit have fuelled anger, culminating in a series of organised protests and formal statements against the club’s leadership.
The CDSA’s vote was carried by a large majority, and the group has confirmed it will now take part in wider discussions with other fan bodies, including the Celtic Trust, North Curve Celtic and Celtic FC DAO, to plan future action.
In a strongly worded statement released on Thursday evening, the CDSA expressed their deep frustration at the direction of the club, both on and off the park, accusing the board of a lack of ambition and of disregarding the concerns of supporters.
“Following the recent open letter to the Celtic board from numerous supporter organisations and the subsequent votes of no confidence in the Celtic board by the Celtic Supporters’ Association and other fan groups, the Celtic Disabled Supporters Association (CDSA) have conducted a vote of our members. The result of that vote was an overwhelming majority in favour of the statement.
“The CDSA wish to join the other Celtic fan groups and to express our profound frustration and disappointment with the current state of affairs at our club. The lack of ambition showing in the transfer market, the failure to address key squad issues, and the tone of the clubs recent public statement have left our members feeling undervalued and unheard. Frankly, the lack of consideration given our members generally at times, and the lacklustre approach to managing our club affairs, have been building for years.”

The statement highlights how discontent with the board has spread across all sections of the Celtic support. The involvement of the CDSA carries added weight, with the group representing fans who have often campaigned for better recognition and inclusion from the club.
With yet another supporters’ organisation now backing a vote of no confidence, pressure on the Celtic hierarchy is intensifying. The board’s recent public statement was meant to calm tensions, but instead has been met with further anger for its tone and lack of clear answers.

Fan groups are now united in demanding change, and the CDSA’s decision to formally join their ranks only strengthens the collective voice calling for accountability.
As protests build and fan organisations begin to coordinate their actions, the board is being left with fewer options to ignore or dismiss the criticism. The Celtic support, once again, is closing ranks, but this time against its own leadership.

You are a disgrace to the name of the club!
This is NOT how you support Celtic!
Go, and take Rodgers with you! The cause of these issues!
He’s walking away and sticking his middle finger up to you at the end of the season anyway!
