JEREMIE FRIMPONG is the man of the moment after his surprise start against Partick Thistle on Wednesday night. The right-back came in on the final day of the transfer window much to the surprise of many.

Celtic signed the player on a four-year deal and going off his first game it looks like it’s a sound investment for the Scottish Champions. It’s great to see Neil bringing players through who he thinks are ready to make an impact. The player has not even been in the door a month and has already got a first appearance under his belt.

It will make every single player in the developmental side step their game up even further if they know they have a manager who will use them if they continue to shine.

For Frimpong, it was a fantastic moment and a game he won’t soon forget with the result finishing 5-0 and him being named the Celtic Park man of the match.

The youngster took to social media after the game to celebrate.
