ANGE POSTECOGLOU will be furious with his captain Nir Bitton after he received a double booking during his side’s win over Dundee United.

Bitton was booked early into the second half and received his marching orders in the 81st minute. The game was goalless and Celtic had to find their goal with 10 men.

Ange will be looking forward to the Glasgow Derby on Wednesday. His side is in great form with their opponents still to find their feet. A draw from the Ibrox club earlier on Saturday means Celtic can go top of the table on Wednesday night.

The manager will have his head in his hands, with Bitton’s sending off he will be suspended for the big match. Pistecoglou must decide on a new-look midfield trio.

Callum McGregor was present at today’s game, whether he will be available for Wednesday is doubtful. Postecoglou may be forced to play James McCarthy or Ismalia Soro in the holding midfield role. The boss has been reluctant to give either of these players game time this season.

Whether he has a surprise in store or not, It will be interesting to see what Ange decides to do.

  1. Bitton was harshly dealt with today , should not have been second yellow , but he got away with one yellow at Tynecastle last week when he should have seen Red , so there can be no complaints.
