OSAZE URHOGIDE has moved on loan to KV Oostende for the remainder of the season.

However, disappointingly, there is an option-to-buy clause included in the defender’s contract. The fee is currently undisclosed.

The defender has only made one appearance for Celtic but he did look promising playing in the right-back role. However, in the official statement confirming his loan, the Belgian side stated that Urhogide prefers to play as a central defender.

Of course, in the past Celtic and KV Oostende have worked together.

When Jack Hendry was sent on loan to the side he had an option to buy clause included in his contract. After impressing, the club made Hendry’s loan permanent before selling him on to make a large profit.

It is worrying for fans, still young, the Dutchman still has time to improve after arriving in the summer. If Celtic are willing to take the risk and include an option-to-buy Postecoglou must simply not fancy the player. Which begs the question, why was he signed in the first place?
