Juventus and AS Monaco have emerged as the latest European clubs showing a keen interest in Celtic’s young talent, Rocco Vata.

The 18-year-old playmaker, who has been turning heads with his performances, is now at the centre of a potential transfer battle.
However, very frustratingly, Celtic haven’t offered the highly sought winger a new deal to attempt to tie him down at the club. Doing so would also see the club rake in a higher transfer fee than the £340,000 they’ll get if he leaves with his contract expiring.
Football Scotland reports that both Juventus and Monaco have scheduled talks with Vata’s representatives in the coming weeks. The discussions are believed to revolve around a possible deal, with a cross-border compensation fee of around £340,000 being mooted.
Despite not making a single first-team squad this season, Vata has been a shining light in their B team. His impressive tally of 14 goals in 16 games across all competitions for both club and country underscores his potential and prowess as an attacker.
