Celtic grabbed a late point against Aberdeen at Pittodrie this evening in another disappointing display as we count down the minutes before this season comes to an end.

The home side took the lead early on in the match, through a very familiar method for this Celtic defence at a corner. Andy Considine was the man to rise highest before Lewis Ferguson met the ball at the back post to tap home from close range.

Throughout the majority of the game, it was pretty much the same old for John Kennedy’s side, not having that cutting edge to make much out of it.

When they did though, with players such as Edouard and Turnbull finding themselves in good positions, they were very wasteful.

In the final 10 minutes, we even got to see a rare appearance from academy prospect Karamoko Dembele.

As the game looked to be heading for a finish, Leigh Griffiths scored to level the scoring up with effectively the final touch of the game. A well-delivered ball to the back post from Mohamed Elyounoussi found the head of the Celtic number nine who nodded home.

This isn’t much to get excited over though with what felt like another flat display from this squad. The one thing fans may be celebrating though is taking another step closer to ending this nightmare season.
