Footballers are as bored as we are during the shutdown and now lockdown. They are amusing themselves with toilet roll challenges, answering questions and nominating one another.
Celtic’s relatively new bhoy Jonathan Afolabi who is currently on loan at Dunfermline was asked who the funniest guy at Celtic was. Considering the amount of wind up merchants in our team, there’s some stiff competition!
Afolabi gave the title of funniest guy at Celtic to Leigh Griffiths. Sounds about right!
Jonathan only came in this summer and didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Mikael Lustig who was the resident funny man for so long.
Leigh along with Broony are always on the wind up and keep the younger members of the squad on their toes.
Going to be honest, I can’t wait till all these quizzes and challenges go away. I’d rather see footballers kick a football rather than a toilet roll!
