Odsonne Edouard started on the bench on Saturday afternoon with the Frenchman nursing a toe injury.

Leigh Griffiths started the game with Neil Lennon reverting back to one up top with a winger either side.

Celtic were 1-0 up thanks to a Callum McGregor penalty in the first half.

It was the 63rd minute when Eddy would be introduced to the game and his first touch of the ball two minutes later had the Ross County goalkeeper picking the ball out the back of his net.

Edouard wasn’t done being the ultimate impact substitute when a couple of minutes later he scored his second.

Celtic were comfortable at 3-0 and Eddy would have had an assist another few minutes later but Mikey Johnston chose to square the ball instead of shooting.

An absolute game changer.

  1. wing back play with one guy up front, leaves 8 players at any one time yet we can not stop attacks in and around our box from poor midfielders, wing back play is like corners no one up but a lone striker among 6 defender’s were are the rest of the dodgers

  2. Impressed with big Eds coming back to halfway line to lay it off to Broony, then bust his humph to collect Forrests pass, then skill and composure to finish…BANG !
Top top play from the big man..never seen him look so quick and hungry.
