JOZO SIMUNOVIC will NOT play any second part in Celtic’s second leg against Rosenborg according to reports.

The club were waiting for an official explanation into why the player’s ban had been extended from one match to two before deciding whether to appeal.

Now they have seen the reasoning in black and white the club look like they will not pursue an appeal and will go to Norway without one of their first team defender’s.

Jozo was sent off in the Alshkert second leg game and missed the Rosenborg first leg by default, after that the disciplinary committee in Nyon took the decision to add an extra match to his suspension.

The bhoys had to shuffle the deck against Rosenborg last week. Gamboa came in from the cold and Jack Hendry took his place alongside Ajer – a very young centre back pairing.

It looks like Celtic will go with that same side and will have Jozo back for Athens if Celtic can secure their place in the next round.
