GIORGOS GIAKOUMAKIS has taken to Instagram after he scored Celtic’s fourth goal in their demolition of Hearts on Saturday afternoon.
Starting on the bench, Giakoumakis was introduced to replace Kyogo, who was also on the scoresheet. It didn’t take the striker long to look like a threat before bagging another first touch finish.
Taking to Instagram, Giakoumakis wrote, “Stunning atmosphere as always! We are almost there…🍀💪🇬🇷”.
It leaves Postecoglou with a selection headache, and he has to pick between two strikers who are both bagging the goals.
Both strikers offer something different. The pair can also impact the game well from the bench.
It’ll be interesting to see if Ange sticks with Kyogo for the mid-week encounter at Tannadice or opts for the physical presence of Giakoumakis.
The greek has turned his Celtic career around. His first six months were filled with injuries, and fans questioned whether the player was good enough for Celtic, but no one is questioning him now.
Celtic’s last trip to the Tayside club was in the cup. Giakouamkis led the line that day and bagged a brace.
