Celtic fans believed they missed the presence of hat-trick hero Giakoumakis against Hibernian on Sunday .

The bhoys played out a 0-0 draw with the Edinburgh club. Thankfully, the result didn’t prove too problematic with our rivals blowing a two goal lead to also draw on Sunday.

As we head towards Wednesday night’s game against St Mirren at home, Ange Postecoglou has admitted the striker isn’t fully up to speed yet and if he does make the squad, the Greek forward will likely start on the bench.

Four Tims and a Podcast were at todays pre-match presser and delivered the update.

Celtic need all their players if they’re to win the league this season. It’s been an ensemble cast to this point and Sunday was hopefully a small blip.

Maeda didn’t have the best game against Hibs but looks likely to start against St Mirren. Hopefully the striker can make the difference and Giakoumakis can impact the game later in the evening.
