After securing a third consecutive Scottish Premiership title last night, attention for Celtic now turns to St. Mirren at Parkhead this Saturday.

Post-match, the Bhoys will receive the league trophy and after it, the fans are expected, once more, to descend upon the Trongate for a party.

For the last two years, the supporters have made their way from Celtic Park to the iconic site where some memorable scenes have been captured.

The same will likely ring true this Saturday but ahead of the title party, Glasgow City Council wrote out a statement on X, warning fans to behave themselves and not practice any antisocial behaviour:

The warning mentions the Trongate and George Square as venues where disruptions have been caused before.

The latter is synonymous with Rangers fans and when they congregated in the city centre after winning the league during the Covid pandemic, they were seen fighting amongst each other.

Celtic supporters, however, have carried themselves with dignity and respect, simply gathering in the Merchant City and having a good time.

That is exactly what they will do this weekend amid warnings from the council about misbehaviour.
