The clash will be the third meeting between the bitter rivals in the league this season. The previous two encounters have seen both teams deliver emphatic 3-0 victories on their home turf, making the upcoming match that little bit more exciting.

The SPFL has also confirmed a host of other Celtic fixtures selected for live TV coverage over the coming months, including matches on Premier Sports and Sky Sports.

Here’s the updated schedule for Celtic’s upcoming televised matches: [Football on TV]

Saturday, February 22

Hibernian vs Celtic

  • Live on Premier Sports
  • Kick-off: 12.30pm

Tuesday, February 25

Celtic vs Aberdeen

  • Live on Sky Sports
  • Kick-off: 8.00pm

Saturday, March 1

St Mirren vs Celtic

  • Live on Sky Sports
  • Kick-off: 5.30pm

Sunday, March 16

Celtic vs Rangers

That’s a mix of Premier Sports and Sky Sports for Celtic over the next few months.

It’s one of the benefits of the new deal that Premier have got. Without them, there would be many games that would go without TV coverage and leave many fans, particularly Celtic fans who struggle to pick up tickets for away games, without a legal way to watch their team.
