Celtic Women’s up-and-coming Glasgow derby fixtures against Rangers is set to be televised to Hoops supporters via the Pass to Paradise.

It is a big week to come for Fran Alonso’s side, who picked up three points in the league yesterday afternoon in a 2-0 win over Spartans, shortening the gap to just two points behind Glasgow City in 2nd place.

The Ghirls are set to face off against the 14 in a row champions this Thursday, with a chance to leapfrog them in the league into 2nd spot.

However, this coming Sunday, Celtic are also set to take on rivals Rangers in the next round of the Scottish Women’s Cup.

The club announced this evening that this weekend’s fixture, taking place at the Penny Cars Stadium, will be broadcast to season ticket holders on the Pass to Paradise, with supporters able to tune in and support Fran Alonso’s side.

The cup competition offers a big opportunity for the women’s side to lift another piece of silverware this season, after lifting the SWPL Cup earlier in the campaign as well as continuing their fightback in the league.

The Hoops will also be looking to gain some revenge on our Glasgow rivals, who were victorious in the last derby fixture between the two sides.

Hopefully, we can see Fran and his side advance to the next round this Sunday. But first, a massive three points are up for grabs later this week.
