A St Johnstone fan account has thrown up an anomaly and solution to the split that could see the SPFL do the unthinkable and hand Celtic a third home Derby game.
To even up home and away games after the split, it would be easier and more logical for the SPFL to switch the final derby game to Celtic Park. See the list of fixtures below and why another home game would remedy this.
Looking at post-split fixtures. Given that Rangers' one away game is already against Saints then easiest thing looks to be to switch Aberdeen vs Saints to Perth and also switch Old Firm venue. Simple for the @spfl this time surely… pic.twitter.com/88YDChS7pq

Ultimately, I’m calling it unthinkable from the SPFL because it’s a logical step but a bridge too far for them in terms of trying to appease the Ibrox club.
The season is already settled at the top and with no fans inside the stadium, it’s not as if there is a massive advantage to anyone having a home game.
We expect the SPFL to go out of their way to make sure there’s not a switch when the fixtures come out.
We should be hearing very soon when and where we will be playing.
