Celtic have travelled to Latvia tonight to try and negotiate their way through a third qualifying round of the Europa League against Riga FC.
You could be forgiven for thinking Celtic were up against an SPFL team tonight as Riga packed out their defence and set in deep to try and frustrate Celtic and hit them on the break.
The Bhoys enjoyed a lot of possession but the truth is most of the team were just not at it tonight. It was the influence of the subs bench that caused the most threats tonight.
Mohamed Elyounossi was one of those subs, he came on with only ten minutes remaining but his goal has saved a tired-looking Celtic team from some dreaded extra time.
.@CelticFC with what looks to be a stoppage time WINNER! ?
Mohamed Elyounoussi got the all-important breakthrough that should send his team into the next round ? pic.twitter.com/LzmdAIU5FM

Frimpong came on in the first half for an injured James Forrest and he was the only bright light in a dull Celtic performance. He deserved a goal for his play but an assist will do for the youngster the world of good.
He could have left the field with three assists as he tormented the Riga defenders all night and he should walk of the park with a man of the match award.
Absolute rubbish-again. What is the point of totally dominating possession only to pass it backwards & sideways and not create chances? Ntcham taken off again when he, at least was looking to go forward unlike Brown & McGregor. Eddy looks uninterested and Taylor proving that letting Hayes go to save pennies was ridiculous when we will surely have to spend more money on a decent LB
Moi does it when it counts. Nae mer of yer pish about him. Only the Europa Leek they say. A away win is still an away win. ?
