GORDON STRACHAN is still working behind the scenes at Celtic and took in the game against Leverkusen on Thursday night with some familiar faces.
Celtic told CeltsAreHere.com Gordon Strachan is in the building to look at the women’s side and the B team and give recommendations on both to help the club move forward.
It’s a bit of a bogus title and a strange one at that. A move one source told CeltsAreHere was pushed through by Dermot Desmond who is still good friends with the Strachan
In the Celtic box this evening the former Hoops manager had the company of Gianni Capaldi and Martin Compson. They could be seen having some back and forth throughout the match.
Capaldi and Compston are huge Celtic fans and would have been much younger lads when Gordon was in charge of first team affairs.
The trio would have watched on as Celtic lost 4-0 on the night to Bayer Leverkusen.
A heavy defeat to start off our Europa home campaign is far from ideal but we must now pick ourselves up and go again.
Gordon had some top nights at Celtic Park and even managed to get the Hoops beyond the Champions League group stages.
We feel a long way from that goal at present.
The only man to take Celtic forward is Martin O’Neill.
