Juranovic picked up an injury against The Rangers at Hampden and hasn’t played for Celtic since. Although manager, Ange Postecoglou, told CeltsAreHere that the right-back did return to training ahead of the season’s final game against Motherwell.
Croatia is set to face Austria, France, and potentially face Matt O’Riley if the Dane receives a senior call up. The country will face France twice.
Josip Juranovic has had a brilliant debut season in Glasgow, showing his versatility by debuting at Ibrox in the left-back position.
He’s become a fan favourite and has a very catchy song.
The mischievous character has contributed to the atmosphere in the dressing room. He’s commonly made cheeky comments on his teammates’ posts and has brought in a ‘meow’ trend.
He certainly doesn’t lack confidence, panenkaing his penalities on a few occasions.
All in all, he’s been a great signing and Postecoglou will look forward to him returning for Celtic’s title defence campaign next season.
