According to the SundayPost, Greek side Olympiacos are renewing their interest in Celtic Star Dedryck Boyata.

Celtic are likely to be tested in January if the player does not sign a new deal with the club.

If the Belgian enters the last six months of his deal and Celtic receive a decent sized bid for his services, it’s going to be tempting for the board to cash in on the defender.

Had they got their way in the summer though, the player would have probably gone to Fulham when they put a bid of around £7million on the table which Rodgers later confirmed.

However, it was the Celtic manager putting his foot down to both Dedryck and the board which seen him stay and it’s proved to be an inspired decision to this point.

Boyata has been in great form since putting his head down after the window.

With no sign yet of a deal and Celtic actively looking for defenders, there could be room for movement.

Fulham and Lazio are both still reportedly interested.
