The Green Brigade have released their own statement following Wednesday night’s fan consultation meeting, offering a clear outline of what supporters can expect in the weeks ahead.
The meeting, chaired by Eddie Toner of the Celtic Trust and attended by fan groups, CSC representatives and fan media — including CeltsAreHere — drew significant attention. Over 38,000 supporters had responded to a Fan Action survey in the days leading up to the event, with overwhelming majorities backing drastic steps to force change at Celtic Park.
In their statement, the Green Brigade acknowledged the “no confidence” votes against the current leadership — CEO Michael Nicholson, CFO Chris McKay and chairman Peter Lawwell — and confirmed that supporters want a strategic and escalatory campaign against the board. They also reiterated the demand for a democratic fan body that could properly represent supporters at a structural level.
The group underlined that the first coordinated action will be a delayed entry protest at Rugby Park this Sunday, when Celtic face Kilmarnock. Fans are being asked to enter the ground after the opening ten minutes, in order to visualise and vocalise their discontent, before giving full backing to Brendan Rodgers and his players for the remainder of the match.
Beyond Sunday, the statement made clear this is just the start. A steering group of volunteers is being assembled to drive the movement forward, with a focus on unity and escalation. The Green Brigade also emphasised that, while there will inevitably be debate over tactics, the most crucial factor is maintaining broad fan support and momentum.
The message reflects what was evident during the meeting itself: while there were differences of opinion over certain actions, there is no doubt about the strength of feeling against the current Celtic board. Dermot Desmond may remain in the background, but supporters have Lawwell, Nicholson and McKay firmly in their sights.
The Green Brigade closed their statement by thanking all who have participated in the process so far, making it clear that fan patience has snapped and a line has been crossed. For Celtic’s hierarchy, this was not a warning — it was a declaration that organised fan opposition has begun.

80 mins of solid, noisy support to drive the team on.
Bear in mind that many at CP bolt from 75mins onwards, even when the team need them. This is preferable to that.
What good this will do, is beyond me….Players and Coaching Staff not supported for 10 minutes…??..Total nonsense in my opinion.

Your displeasure is against the board not the team. This is a stupid action to take but doesn’t surprise me as it’s all about the GB as usual and not the majority of fans who want to back the team.
I think the board will be happy we are not in for the 1st 10min. I get it’s a hard balance making a point and supporting the team but not sure how this is going to effect the board. Will kill me standing outside while the game is on.
I take the point of the late entry protest but I’d heard a suggestion of all fans walking out at the 67th minute. Symbolic timing when you think how Celtic could have developed from that year ( I’m not sure if the exits are actually open at that time though! 🤔😬)

Many years ago, I gave up my long held and much cherished Season Ticket …in protest at the Board’s handling of Res 12…So I don’t need advice on the subject of the Board.
Paul Tisdale was appointed ONE YEAR AGO as Celtic’s Head of Football Operations on October 16, 2024. He is supposed to oversee “the development of the club’s operations to support high-level football performance, with a particular focus on talent identification and development through the youth academy and recruitment processes. Tisdale also works with analytics to enhance performance and has a mandate to develop Champions League-quality players”. Paul Tisdale’s job description as Head of Football Operations at Celtic Football Club is a strategic role focused on “improving high-level football performance through efficient operations, talent identification and development from the Academy and recruitment processes, and the use of analytics. He reports to the Board, overseeing processes to help the club identify and develop talent, modernize recruitment, and drive overall success”.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop effective operational processes to support high-level football performance.
Play a crucial role in identifying and developing talent within the club’s Academy and recruitment strategies to produce Champions League-level players.
Work with the club’s analytics functions and support colleagues across the club to improve processes and performance.
Ensure that operations and processes align with the club’s overall strategy for high-level performance and success.
Review and improve behind-the-scenes processes, including player recruitment, data usage, and player and coach development.
This is a new role at Celtic, created to add a “new dimension” to the club’s work and to address areas like talent identification, development, and the modernization of recruitment processes.
Tisdale also brings extensive managerial experience, including leading Exeter City to promotion, which is seen as valuable for his strategic and operational role at Celtic.
So he doesn’t seem to be a successful appointment?
