Celtic fans demonstrated their immense appreciation for their manager Ange Postecoglou this evening as he celebrated his 100th game in charge of the club.

The stadium was filled with applauds and cheers in the 80th minute of the 31 victory against Hearts at Parkhead, and a banner reading,Gone by Christmas? Here‘s to 100 more was placed in the stands as a dig at Postecoglou‘s previous critics. The manager had his name chanted from the terraces as his team saw out the win.

The banner remained up after full-time, with the players and manager acknowledging the message.

Josh Ginnelly opened the scoring for Hearts, but Daizen Maeda, Kyogo, and Sead Haksabanovic sealed the win for the Hoops, ensuring that Celtic remained nine points clear at the top of the table.

Since June 2021, Postecoglou has won three trophies and is on course for a treble this year, proving the doubters wrong.
