One man who has stepped up to the plate this season under immense criticism at times has been Celtic’s Greg Taylor.
The defender’s contributions to the side mostly go unnoticed and he falls under the category of a player who can do 100 things right during a game but if he does one thing wrong that’s where the focus goes.
The left back struggled at Celtic under Neil Lennon but he’s doing a fantastic job under Ange, and just like Anthony Ralston on the other side of the defence, he’s playing a completely new role and has taken it to it very well.

Greg is always going to fight against the tide when it comes to opinions. Some fans have their own baked in ideas of certain players they’re never going to really move on from.
Even I an season nowhere he’s had a bad shoulder injury, Greg has come to the fore. Playing 30 games in all competitions for the club and helping the bhoys really kick on in the second half of the season. You can’t have your Jota’s, Kyogo’s and Abada’s becoming heroes without the hard work of guys like Greg
Greg has more than played his part this season. Deserves to be in the team, every player has! We are carrying no dead weight, deserves more recognition does Greg.
I agree he’s had a decent season but lets not go overboard.
The improvement is from a low base and if we’re serious about Europe, he shouldnt be in the team
