Celtic defender Greg Taylor is hopeful that all three of Ange Postecoglou’s new additions in the January window will help the squad’s push for the title in the second half of the Premiership season.

The 24-year old has been training with the Japanese trio at Lennoxtown since their arrival early this month as Ange Postecoglou and his squad get to work in preparing for the league restart this coming Monday.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Taylor revealed that all of this month’s arrivals have settled into life nicely as Celtic players and also opened up on what fans should come to expect when seeing them in action.

“The new signings have settled in really well. They all have fantastic work ethic, but that’s something all of our signings have had.

“The more quality and work ethic we have will only improve us as a squad.

“My Japanese definitely needs some work; luckily, the lads are trying their best with English, so that’s helped.

“They’re all good additions to the squad and will help us improve over the next few months of the season.”

There is much excitement surrounding all three of Postecoglou’s January signings, given his knowledge of the J-League from his time in Japan.

Hearing comments like this from Taylor also add to that anticipation, with fans looking forward to the prospect of seeing new players in the squad on Monday evening, with the return of full crowds.

Hopefully, as a squad, this group of players can continue their improvements and kick on in the second half of the campaign.
