Celtic defender Greg Taylor is set for a major milestone tonight against Dundee at Dens Park, despite his Hoops future being far from certain.
Taylor, whose current Celtic deal expires in the summer with no signs of an extension, is free to negotiate with other clubs over a pre-contract agreement, with Dinamo Zagreb, several MLS clubs, Trabzonspor, Espanyol, and English Championship sides Hull City and Queens Park Rangers all said to be interested.
Celtic have been linked with a pre-contract agreement for former defender Kieran Tierney, who, like Taylor, sees his current deal expire in the summer, with a potential loan deal until the end of the season before a pre-contract is signed.

However, Taylor will complete a special milestone in Tayside, starting his 200th game for Celtic, against Tony Docherty’s side, with the Celtic social media team paying a special tribute to Taylor before the match.

It certainly will be a special night for Taylor, who was an unused substitute for Saturday’s 4-1 win over Ross County, with Alex Valle starting the game and Liam Scales instead favoured off the bench in the second half. But the Scottish left-back returns to the team after starting last Wednesday against Dundee United at Celtic Park.
