Celtic look to be closing in on the signing of Greg Taylor according to Scotsman’s journalist Barry Anderson.
The defender was left out of Kilmarnock’s game against Aberdeen today amid all the speculation.
Anderson reports, Celtic are negotiating hard on a deal and while there’s still a ways to go, the deal looks inevitable.
Greg Taylor to Celtic from Kilmarnock should be done next week. GT left out of #Killie squad today. #Celtic negotiating hard, Killie want a deal worth £3m for the Scotland internationalist. Still some talking to be done but should go through before transfer deadline on 2 Sept.

Taylor’s signing means Birger Meling would not be coming to Celtic, something Chris Sutton touted as almost a done deal last week.
Taylor has proved himself to be a fantastic player for Kilmarnock and was a big part of Stevie Clarke’s success while Killie boss.
Celtic have been on the look of for another left back since Kieran Tierney flew the nest earlier this month.
Taylor would come in and be direct competition for Boli Bolingoli. The 21-year-old’s experience in the league means there would be no need for a settling in period and he’d be good to play with Celtic as soon as the transfer was complete.
