CELTIC are still in the market to sign two or three more players before the window closes a week on Monday. The bhoys had an early summer signing spree but now the deals are trickling through and there’s still plenty of room for improvement.

Fraser Forster was the latest to join Neil Lennon at the club, coming in on loan from Southampton.

With 10 days to go until the window does shut, time isn’t on their side and Celtic could now pay an added premium for anyone they want to try and bring to the club.

RecordSport report this morning claim Neil Lennon wants to go for Kilmarnock left-back Greg Taylor but the club have slapped a £3m price tag on the player.

This would be a much larger outlay for taking a punt on the player and the sort of thing which was bound to happen the later Celtic left it in the window.

It’s up to Celtic what they want to do but when you have Peter Lawwell who didn’t even want to pay that for John McGinn last summer, you could imagine he’ll be reluctant to pay £3m for Taylor.
