GREG TAYLOR has been tipped to sign for Celtic by midnight this evening with Neil Lennon confirming it’s something at Killie’s end that’s stopping the deal from going through at this point.

The Killie defender sat out again at the weekend for the Rugby Park side with so much speculation surrounding his future.

With the clock ticking down to the end of the window, it’s important the left-back is on hand to sign should the moment come.

A BBC reporter has got some snaps of the Celtic target this morning reporting for Scotland duty with his former Killie boss Steve Clarke.

The international squad have met up in Glasgow and are being put through their paces on this Monday morning. If Taylor gets the call he will more than likely be allowed to leave the Scotland camp to sign a deal with the Scottish Champions.

Celtic have got Boli Bolingoli in at left-back but should the player get injured there is nobody else who can fill in. Taylor provides squad depth and considering Celtic are fighting on four fronts at the moment, it will certainly be an astute signing.
