It’s no easy feat to get to 100 goals in Scottish football, but it’s easier for some than others.
Our old pal Alfredo scored the winning goal against St Mirren on Sunday to join the Scottish football 100 club.
Agent Scotland on social media pointed out Alfredo was the first one to hit this target since Leigh Griffiths for Celtic.
However, the stats show an incredibly different picture.
Leigh got his 100 goals for the Hoops playing 9 less games and a whopping 43 less starts than our man from Columbia.
Morelos managed a goal every 145 minutes while Leigh was at 116.
Morelos scored his 100th Rangers goal.

There was often a debate over who was better, Moussa Dembele or Morelos, Odsonne Edouard or Morelos, there was an acceptance by some in Scotland that he was better than Leigh.
That turns out not to be the case when it comes to cold hard stats on goals.
Taking nothing away from the lad, getting 100 goals is some doing, but the fawning over the player who has yet to attract interest of any club of note while Eddy is in the English Premier League and Dembele is doing his thing for Lyon. He’s a decent striker, just not as good as Leigh Griffiths once was.
