On-loan striker John Guidetti has given his biggest indication yet he wont be at Celtic next season after Celtic manager Ronny Deila confirmed the players agents have decided to stop talks with the club.
“We’ve been speaking with John for a long time but he’s decided now he wants to wait to see what his options are,” said Deila
The player scored a sensational 11 goals in his first 10 games for Celtic but has now not netted since November. Deila confirmed months ago Celtic had agreed a fee with his parent club Man City and was hopeful a deal would be concluded but the player wants to see all his options come the summer. Deila is uncertain where the players future lies.
Will he stay beyond the summer? I don’t know. That’s difficult to answer, but I know he is going to be here until the end of the season.”
John hasn’t featured in the past 2 games and will be looking to get back in the team in the coming weeks.
