Celtic were atrocious at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon and ended the final Glasgow Derby on the end of a 4-1 defeat.

The lack of effort and game management in the second half was outrageous for a Celtic team who looked like they wanted to be anywhere else.

Scott Brown started this game out of sentimentality, make no two ways about it.

The captain is a legend at the club but this season has been a bridge too far and the decision-makers have allowed him to continue because he’s in the final few months of his deal.

Jonjoe Kenny has been an awful signing and the defender has come up short in three derbies now.

Callum McGregor’s sending off summed up our season and Callum’s. The midfielder has been way off the pace and looks a shadow of his former self.

Scott Bain is not a Celtic goalkeeper by any stretch of the imagination and he must be replaced in the summer.

When you look at the squad and what needs to be done, it is overwhelming!

But there will be plenty of these underperforming players away in the summer. It’s time to go for many of these bhoys. The likes of Callum McGregor and David Turnbull will have to have their confidence built up again by the new manager.

  1. Personally I thought and have done all season, that Greg Taylor is nowhere near good enough for Celtic along with Kenny, Bain, Welsh ( still young),Christie and as for John Kennedy clueless, tactically inept and loyal to has beens just like Lennon.
