SEAD HAKSABANOVIC was brilliant on the left wing during the first half, playing a vital role in the Hoops’ goals.

The winger was taken off at half-time, like Jota was a week ago. The substitution was planned by Postecoglou and his coaching staff, though.

Going into the game, the manager was aware of an injury that the player was carrying, and 3-0 up at half-time, decided the game was done and took the player off to avoid further injury. It was a planned substitution.

As quoted by Football Scotland, the Celtic managed have an update on the player, revealing his knock he said;

“He had a bit of an ankle issue going into the game but he was really keen to play.

“Once the game was sort of done we took him off after 45 minutes.”

Hopefully, it’s nothing serious with Haksabanovic playing extremely well at the moment. He’s filled in in midfield and was out wide on Saturday, with Jota sidelined with injury.

Luckily, Jota is due back in training this week, and Mooy can do a shift in midfield, impressing fans with his display on Saturday.
