The talk all week has been about who will start at Ibrox this Sunday in the final Glasgow Derby game of the season.

Neil Lennon has a massive Cup Final to prepare for and although this game counts for very little once today is over and done with – the manager will still want to win.

However, pragmatism must come into play at some point and he spoke about Kieran Tierney only being about 70% fit for the trip to Ibrox. That was a more startling revelation than people gave it credit for. He’s openly admitting he’s ready to play a 70% fit left back for a game which has nothing at stake.

With that in mind, there have been murmurings of Neil going cold on the idea of sending Kieran out for the game – or at least from the start. Is the Celtic manager getting cold feet on the idea? We hope so!

Celtic are delaying Kieran’s double hernia op until the summer and if he can only play one more game then most Celtic fans would prefer it be against Hearts.
