Hatem Elhamed is anxiously awaiting the results of his COVD-19 today after becoming unwell over the past 24 hours. Celtic have already lost Nir Bitton for the Glasgow Derby due to the player returning a positive result away with his county.
Elhamed was part of the team who were beaten by Scotland at Hampden on Thursday night and took part in Israel’s loss to the Czech Republic.
After the game, it emerged the player was feeling unwell and went straight into self-isolating before taking a test this morning.

Celtic will be without Nir Bitton and Ryan Christie for sure, with Odsonne Edouard a major doubt after also testing positive. In the Frenchman’s case, he would be allowed to return to Celtic the day before the Glasgow derby and could feature if Neil Lennon believes he is fit enough.
It’s an anxious time for all Celtic fans with so many of our players out on international duty, any more positive results and our squad will be looking bare.
