In January of last year, Jullien returned a positive COVID-19 test upon his return to Glasgow, after flying home from Dubai with the Celtic playing and coaching staff from a training camp.

This resulted in 13 members of the squad isolating as well as the manager and his assistant. Despite this, Celtic had to field a team to play Hibs and Livingston with Gavin Strachan leading the team.

The side came close to an unlikely victory against Hibs, drawing 1-1 after conceding late in the game. The weakened side then had a goalless draw against Livi.

Hibs have had their COVID outbreak, which resulted in their game on Saturday in Dingwall being postponed and the new date of the coming Wednesday was announced, however, news has emerged that this tie has now been postponed.

The SFA gave Celtic and Dundee United, who had 9 members of the first team squad isolating, very little leeway, but seem to be accommodating Hibs.

The answer should be simple, if a team can not be fielded, the three points should be awarded to Ross County.

We wish all those affected the best, but the SFA must show their authority or be as transparent as possible. If Hibs situation is different from Celtic’s and there’s a legitimate reason for the stance, then they must come out and let everybody know.

  2. John, you are an idiot. Celtic are the establishment. This issue is between SPFL and Hibs, nothing to do with SFA or Rangers.
