Jota used his appearance on Sky Sports post-match on Sunday to sing the praises of his teammate Greg Taylor.

The defender has been a whipping bhoy at times for some in the support but he’s started this season so well and understands his role within the team.

Greg has been consistent and has been the engine behind the attacking flair we’ve been able to show in the first three games.

Jota grabs the headlines a lot and rightly so, but he wanted to make sure Greg wasn’t left behind and pointed out to the Sky reporter that Taylor’s contributions are vital to the team’s performance overall.

It really speaks to the atmosphere in the dressing room. They all seem to be together and are pushing each other.

14th August 2022; The BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, Kilmarnock, Scotland: Scottish premier league football, Kilmarnock FC versus Celtic:

Ange spoke last season about not just cultivating a talented team but filling the dressing room with the right type of characters. The Australian’s managed to do this and it’s paying off big style.

Celtic ran out 5-0 winners against Kilmarnock and sit top of the pile after three games. We’re looking very exciting right now.

Next up for the bhoys is Hearts at home, a big challenge for Celtic, but one we hope they can rise to.

  1. I totally agree with MR. I always think GT isn’t given enough credit by some supporters. He maybe smaller than other defenders but by God he plays his heart out for our club Celtic. He has come on to his job leaps and bounds under Ange. Well done and well deserved GT. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
