HULL BOSS Nigel Adkins has spoken of his disappointment over Celtic target Moses Odubajo’s refusal to sign a new deal with Hull last month.

The right-back has been out injured for two years after the cruellest of bad luck, sustaining two consecutive long-term injuries.

Adkins was surprised Moses has decided to leave considering the club have looked after him since his injury.

“We’ve offered him a contract to stay but he doesn’t want to stay,”

“Moses hasn’t accepted the contract that we have offered. He’s out of contract, we’ve offered him one and he’s obviously going to try and find (a future) somewhere else.

“He hasn’t played for two years so it will be a challenge for him but we wish him well.”

Since then, Moses has turned up at Celtic’s training camps hoping to win a deal with the double treble champions.

Before his injury hell, the right back was on Premier league clubs radar with Everton trying to sign him for upward of £10million.

Brendan Rodgers says he has held positive talks with the player, but they’re a long way from a deal.
