SCOTT BROWN has praised his comeback teammate Fraser Forster after the big goalkeeper reminded everybody how good he is against Lazio on Thursday night.

The on-loan Englishman earned praise from not only inside the club but further afield for his match winning stop at the end of a pulsating ninety minutes. Fraser has been overwhelmed by the support since returning to the club and he’s delighted to be back doing what he does best.

For his captain Scott Brown who once waved goodbye to the player – he believes Fraser loves the club and understand what it means to be a Celt.

The goalkeeper is only here temporarily at the moment but there are many who would like to see Fraser re-sign full time.

“Fraser’s been here for a long time – he loves the club and understands what it’s all about” Brown told CelticTV.

“He’s a great goalie, his save the other day was exceptional.

“We have two other goalies in the squad fighting for that spot, that’s what this club is all about”

Fraser will be in for the game against St Mirren tonight but will be more than likely dropped for the League Cup semi-final with Neil Lennon opting to use Craig Gordon in that particular competition.
