NEIL LENNON has branded it unfair that his defender Boli Bolingoli keeps getting singled out when it comes to criticism of his new player.

Boli looked at sea for a lot of the Cluj game and his first half against Motherwell was erratic – he somewhat redeemed himself second half.

However, that hasn’t stopped many people from branding him a dud less than ten games into his Celtic career.

The Parkhead boss has insisted he’s happy with Boli and he can still improve.

“People keep singling him out and I think it’s very, very unfair.” He told CelticTV.

“I felt he was superb in the second half, albeit there are bits and pieces he can iron out.

“But as the games go on he’s getting better”

We hope to see the defender cut out the slack passes as well as being caught out by wingers when he’s too far advanced to help defending. It is very early in his Celtic career and he’s still getting used to the people he’s playing with.

We can only judge as the season goes on but any high profile mistakes will not help his case. The defender is likely to start against Cluj on Tuesday.
